5/29 Mumia Supporter's in Court for Flyering!

Tomorrow (5/29) Mumia supporters Kevin Price and Maiga Milbourne go to court to contest their arrest when flyering for Mumia's April 24 Book Release. They have filed a complaint with the police department that the arrest and prosecution are prejudicial. It's understood that the IAB/police most likely won't respond to this complaint in any way, but it was filed in protest and to bury these people in paperwork. If we all continually protest in every possible way it potentially challenges governmental harassment of our movement.

The trial will be held in a public courtroom at 1401 Arch St, on the second floor. The defendants have to be there at 8:30 am but there's no telling at what time the case will be heard. In the tradition of "Jailhouse Lawyers," and in respect and gratitude for all Activists and Revolutionaries who set an example of resistance and self-representation, they will be representing themselves. If anyone is available and wants to stop by in support, that's welcome, but not absolutely necessary.
